Jennifer Lopez gave an emotional speech on how both believers and skeptics have contributed to her success as she was presented with a career achievement award at Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards .
“I would like to express my gratitude to all those who have brought me joy, as well as the one who made me feel sad — both the true-hearted and the liars. Lopez won this year’s Generation award to recognize actors who are known for their diverse roles. For her song “On My Way”, from “Marry Me”, she won best song, a category that was new.
